When we decided to do the Lyndale Garden outside event again, we only dreamed of the nice weather. The morning did not disappoint. The Two Or More community of volunteers gathered at Lyndale Gardens in south Minneapolis to pull weeds and fill up on some much needed vitamin D. This event was a great way for us to get outside, network, serve and learn more about the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation. Our community parks and outdoor spaces are one of our greatest local assets, and it takes a village of volunteers to help keep them vibrant and beautiful. We enjoyed learning more from Theresa and Becca – Park and Rec staff members – about weeding, watering and planting.
What a privilege to support such a great cause, spend time with amazing people, and make a community-supporting impact. Stay tuned for our upcoming event this September, we will announce details soon.
