Emily Youngblood Takes Key Leadership Role at Fast-Growing Minneapolis Marketing Consultancy: Authentic Brand
Company poised for strong second year with Youngblood at the helm of client services
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – May 2, 2018
Authentic Brand is pleased to announce the addition of Emily Youngblood as senior marketing consultant and head of client services delivery. A seasoned marketer and brand leader, Emily brings more than 15 years of growth-driving experience to support Authentic Brand’s client relationships and marketing programs.
Founded in early 2017, Authentic Brand has quickly captured the attention of the Twin Cities’ market with its focus on serving the small- and mid-sized businesses with fractional CMO and strategic brand and messaging offerings. The company has further refined its niche – and propelled its growth trajectory – by aligning its processes and deliverables to integrate with businesses who are powered by EOS® (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), a business growth methodology that is catching fire among SMBs in the Midwest.
“When you work with growth-focused clients, they tend to drive your growth, too,” says Founder and CEO, Jennifer Zick. “At the end of our first rocket ship year, it was evident to me that I needed a strong right arm to help manage the operational side of the business, proactively developing our processes and talent, so we can continue to provide exceptional quality and value to our growing roster of clients. Emily is the perfect leader for this role, and is also a talented marketer who will help refine and build our client engagement model.”
Prior to joining Authentic Brand, Youngblood was most recently the Director of Marketing for Relationship One, a Minneapolis-based Oracle Marketing Cloud partner and services provider. Before her foray into SaaS channel marketing, Youngblood spent a decade at non-profit, YouthWorks, where she was promoted to Director of Digital Marketing and oversaw a marketing staff of six.
“The role and opportunity at Authentic Brand is truly the perfect optimization of my career experiences and passions,” states Youngblood. “I’ve had the chance to build a background in sales, brand, digital marketing, and agency services. I’ve worked with for-profit B2B and non-profit B2C. And now, I get to bring all of these experiences together to help growing businesses get marketing traction and build their marketing teams.”
Youngblood’s non-profit experience will be put to good use as she takes a frontline role in growing Two Or More: a community service movement – spearheaded by Zick – which brings local professionals together for volunteer and service opportunities across the metro. Says Youngblood, “There’s no doubt that I have a deep appreciation for the service-focused values of Authentic Brand. The Two Or More cause is a tangible reflection of the heart of this business, which I am so proud to now be representing.”
ABOUT AUTHENTIC BRAND
Authentic Brand helps growing businesses get marketing traction through fractional marketing leadership and strategic brand and messaging services. We meet these rising businesses – generally $5M to $50M in revenues – at the point where they recognize the need for marketing to be a strategic, sustained part of their sales growth, but when they can’t yet justify a full time CMO and marketing team. Our services help them build marketing muscle, with flexibility and value. We are uniquely-equipped to support businesses who are powered by EOS® (the Entrepreneurial Operating System).
