When Jennifer Zick founded Authentic® in 2017, she was clear about the impact she hoped to make on the world, as articulated by our organization’s Vision & Purpose (below).

Membership Criteria
RISE Marketer Community™ is exclusive, structured, and professionally-led to ensure the highest quality experience to our members.
To provide value for all, every application is vetted to the following requirements:
- You hold an “in-house” role: You are not independent, contracted, freelance, or sole proprietor, but are employed by a company.
- Your current role is marketing-specific and equivalent to manager, director, or similar title: You are not entry-level, nor C Suite-level.
- You have management responsibility: You personally oversee programs and/or people.
- You have responsibility for marketing budgets and outcomes.
- You aspire to grow into an executive marketing role.
- You are willing to be open, honest, vulnerable, and receptive.
- You are humble, motivated, and genuinely curious.
- You are ready to commit to full participation: You will create value for yourself and your cohort peers by regularly attending meetings, with full on-camera participation and limited interruptions or absences.
- You will honor confidentiality; all conversations stay in the room.
