The Role
As our BDR, you’re the tip of the spear on new business. You’ll prospect, research, reach out, and open doors — creating qualified conversations for Authentic’s sales team with the CEOs, founders, and business leaders who need what we do.
This is a high-activity, high-output role. You’ll average 75 calls and follow-ups per day, with a primary goal of securing one qualified sales meeting per day. You’ll use phone, email, LinkedIn, and AI tools to work smart and move fast — and you’ll track everything in the CRM.
What You’ll Do
- Build targeted prospect lists based on Authentic’s ideal client profile — and relentlessly pursue them.
- Average 75 outbound calls plus follow-ups per day via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Secure an average of one qualified sales meeting per day — this is the number that matters most.
- Start real conversations with CEOs, founders, and business leaders and communicate Authentic’s value with clarity and confidence.
- Partner with Authentic’s sales and marketing leaders to sharpen messaging, refine strategy, and improve results.
- Leverage AI and sales tools to research faster, personalize outreach, and work smarter every day.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date — no shortcuts.

Bonus: familiarity with EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System from Traction) — a lot of our clients run on it.
The Basics
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Business, Communications, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related field preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident on the phone — you can hold a conversation and know when to listen
- Ability to learn fast, take feedback, and adapt
- Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in using them well

- Location: Edina, MN — in-office Monday–Thursday, flex Fridays
- Hours: Standard office hours (8am–5pm)
