Recently, a group of 28 enthusiastic volunteers from Authentic came together for an afternoon of service at Bridging, a local nonprofit committed to providing essential furniture and household goods to individuals and families striving for housing stability. Our team dedicated over 56 service hours to restocking blankets and mattresses in Bridging’s Bloomington warehouse, supporting their mission in a meaningful way.
At Authentic, we’re driven by a passion to create positive change in our community. That’s why we launched the Two or More community impact program. This initiative brings together our team, clients, partners, and colleagues to give back by volunteering, fundraising, and contributing to grassroots projects that make a difference locally and globally.
Bridging’s Mission
Bridging empowers people to thrive in their homes by providing quality furniture and household goods for those pursuing housing stability.
How it works:
Bridging accepts donations of gently used household goods and furniture, which are then carefully inspected by their team for quality. These items are organized in a warehouse, where clients can shop for what they need to furnish their homes. Bridging either delivers these goods to clients’ homes or allows them to pick them up directly from the warehouse.
Each year, Bridging provides support to over 13,000 individuals, bridging the gap between those who have and those who are in need, bringing hope and stability to many.
